    Darius holds a B.S. from Cornell University's School of Industrial and Labor Relations and a J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center.

    Like many others, I'm blessed to have been born in America โ€” to an immigrant parent. My mother came to the United States as a teenager after fleeing the Iranian Revolution. She arrived at 16, unable to speak any English, yet education became the bridge that allowed her to adapt, assimilate, and build a stable career and life.

    Growing up as a first-generation American, I saw early on that education mattered. What became even clearer over time was that access to the right kind of education mattered more. When people are given a clear, realistic path forward, effort compounds. When they aren't, talent and motivation often stall.

    For years, I followed the traditional script: Ivy League degrees, credentials, prestige, believing that success meant playing the game exactly as it was laid out.

    Later, as an EdTech founder, that belief changed. What actually drives outcomes isn't pedigree. It's grit, resilience, and practical skills that translate into opportunity. Credentials only matter when they move someone forward.

    Is coaching included with every Career-Bond Preferred program?

    Most Career-Bond Preferred programs include coaching as a standard benefit โ€” it's one of the core reasons our programs are structured the way they are. Over time, we've built a line of value-priced courses designed around extreme affordability for learners who want a high-quality credential without the added career support layer. Those courses do not include the live coaching package.

    Why do some courses not include coaching?

    Career-Bond subsidizes the coaching experience into most Preferred programs so learners don't have to pay separately for it. To keep certain courses accessible at the lowest possible price point, we've intentionally excluded coaching from that tier. This allows us to offer certifications at truly entry-level price points while preserving the full Preferred experience โ€” coaching included โ€” for learners who are investing in a deeper career transition.
